a day in yokohama

Last week nicole and her friends invited me to go to this orchestra concert in Yokohama which are performed by the Philharmonia Taiwan and conducted by Johannes Wildner.

I greatly admired lead violinist Nai YuanHu's performance, his 10 minutes fast peaced non-stop violin performance has captured the souls of all audiences and it is like melody from heaven. The conductor Johannes is soooo cute, we gave him a nick name 'little fatty' and we watch his stomach jumps around while he dancing his way to conduct, and in one moment his face went so red i thought he is going to have a heart attack..

Anyway we have a great time enjoying the concert and Yokohama reminds me of river Thames in London..what a beautiful place.

Bad news

Today bad news came... the family who took care of my dog in UK has decided not to take care of her any more.

My poor lunar will has no place to live...unless I bring her to Japan.
What should I do...shit!

Lemar

Lemar Obika has always been one of my favourite singer since his debut album 'Time to grow' in 2005. His tone of voice and the London flavor of R&B pop music suits right into my ear, conquering my ipod top 25 most played list for a long time.

北海道

It was my first time to visit Hokkaido and Sapporo last Friday, I wasn't expecting anything exciting because I was traveling with my colleagues and was there only for weekend. Seafoods was nice and so as Onsen.

However I do have surprise.
and I think I will go again to retrieve something I left there...

The women complication (2)

Almost 1 year ago (my blog has been almost 1 year..! time flies) I have a post about an unknown painting featuring 5 women representing 5 nation's political situation. Recently I finally found the name of the artist and painting:

Japan update

Tokyo Life

Acquas - Hair saloon

大江戶溫泉物語 - Oedo Ozan

千葉 Mother Farm - 日本太鼓演湊
伴著背景裏的群山, 日落, 和櫻花...

Winchester Rouge Wonderland (1)

"Ladiesssssssss andddddd gentlemmmmmmen! May we present you the Henry Rooooooouge!"

The rounded tent filled with people, passion filled the tent. Gentlemen shouting, their hat falls off, but they have no time to care as the red curtain ascends. Ladies stare in anxiety, searching for pride and the glimpse of hidden jealousy.

I stand at the far back, waiting for something. For what exactly I am waiting for? I don't know. Confused and lost I reach the stair to the upper circle.

"Where is Franky?" a girl was shouting, it was Jessi.

She grabbed my hand and strode through the now over excited crowd, we reached the edge of the circle, and Jessi left with the mission of finding Franky. I looked around and found couples talking, laughing, with wines glasses clinking. The red curtain has now fully ascended with the bonbon girls swinging their legs high, musicians exercising every bits of their souls, but people are waiting, still waiting for the real show to come. Not yet they think, the diamond is yet to come.

Tibet

The independent of Tibet, freedom for the Tibetan, violent oppression from the Chinese government, these are words surrounding tv news channel and newspapers recently.

In my perspective, the Tibet turmoil has stir only political instability, and the local Tibetan will ultimately suffer from it if, for an almost impossible chance, that the Dalai Lama has succeeded.

Looking at the current status Tibet has been developing fast both in infrastructure and economic power thanks to the vast investment of Chinese government fund and domestic tourists, and if Tibet does go independent, losing economic support from the Chinese government and its surrounding diplomatic power, then Tibet will gain nothing apart from pride and the next 10 years of un-stablised society.

In what sense does the Dalai Lama has the power and ability to bring prosperity to Tibetan people and in what reasons should people believe in him to lead a country apart from the superstition of religious bewilderment.

Here I pity the so called human rights organisation in the western world, their claim and accusation of the Chinese government and the support of the Tibet independence.

Fulfilling one group of people's political desire and abandoning one regions future for prosperity is not what my understanding of human rights.

May the Tibetan people and the Chinese population will stay united and peace.

love is coming

its a miracle thing. Tho sometimes it makes you stupid, embarrass, nervous, happy, surprise, and sad. It changes your soul, your heart, your attitude, your appearances, and your life.

How can any one thing be more miracle than love itself and that includes all loves, as it hinders and prejudice human history into war and blossom. It may worth to take some time to think what and whom we should love and not love, as our time and strength is so limited.

it has been a long while since I change the background music because i lost the original flash file...however without changing the text at last i changed the music.

love is coming, a song composed and performed by 杜海鵬.

Attitude of life

Stop waiting until you finish school ... until you go back to school ... until you lose ten pounds ... until you gain ten pounds ... until you have kids ... until your kids leave the house ... until you start work ... until you retire ... until you get married ... until you get divorced ... until Friday night ... until Sunday morning ... until you get a new car or home ... until your car or home is paid off ... until spring, until summer ... until fall ... until winter ... until you are off welfare ... until the first or fifteenth ... until your song comes on ... until you've had a drink ... until you've sobered up ... until you die ... until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.

Happiness is a journey ... not a destination.

Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one.
