A-mei Live Tokyo

A-mei (Zheng Hui Mei), with her Taiwanese aborigines ethnic and gifted voice is now one of the biggest music sensations within the pop music pantheon of the Chinese-speaking world. I particularly liked her voice, which could be very deep and raucous in one moment and then went sky high and crystal clear the next, a truly unique and sensational voice.

I am very lucky that she came to perform in Tokyo, and without any hestitation I bought the ticket , together with 8 other friends :)

It is totally worth the price of 8,800 yen with almost 3 hours of solid performance and a fully seated stadium, where she toally controlled the emotional ups and downs of the audiences. With us dancing and screaming and shouting A-mei ..

Totally in love with her. Best singer in the world, A-mei.

the power of change

Taken from the Times online news section:

"The National Research Council said that the total cost of deploying a national hydrogen network could be as high as $200 billion, including $55 billion in government aid through 2023. Some experts, like Mr. Hwang, expect the cost to be more than twice that.

In fact, given the uncertainties about which fuels will emerge as real alternatives to oil, energy executives still appear extremely cautions about hydrogen."

According to this article, by spending $200 billion or worst case $400 billion, it could change American transportation from oil depend to clean energy source with no carbon emission, and the goverment is hesitating to provide aids to fuel companies.

Instead the US goverment is going to splash out $700 billion to save the greedy wall street, to save the jobs of rediculously paid executives and to make sure some private 'donations' are available to the politicans.

They may argue that if the US financial industry collaps then it will have a profound influence on the whole world economy, but if spending $700 billion can only exchange for the hope that the crisis will end, to hope that the world will return to good old normal, so that the executives will continue to get paid and the initiative of fighting global warming remain slow, it is blatant for me that a national hydrogen fuel network is a much better deal for $700 billion. Even tho world economies may suffer, but for the sake of saving global warming and climate change, it is a sacrifice worth taking.

Now people should realise where the power of change remain, its in the hands of politicans, the greed, and the wall street.

Juun.J

Up and coming Korean fashion designer, graduated from Esmod Seoul in 1992 Juun.J began his career as a designer for “Chiffons” followed by design director for Club Monaco” and “NIX”.
With distinctive style of mixing and transforming classic items with street fashion, create new silhouettes and garments from an overlapping of items and silhouette to silhouette all of which dramatically conflict with each other.
Love his bladzers, it gives a sense of Dior slimming silhouette but with a more masculine street feeling, will try to get one..!

a poem by Arthur Leung

What the Pig Mama Says

The pupoh stopped to cheer. Leklek
was took away. He was mine biggest boy.
A good heart. Saved the best for Yenyen
and Hokhok. His- self eating leftovers.
I cried I cried. Not knew the bastang
took him where. Gokgou told me was hell.

We ate much as we liked. The white fence
put us safe safe. Always we talked, cheered.
The pupoh liked to play with Hokhok.
Mine little boy talked to them sweet.
He knew how make make community.
But Hokhok too was took away by same

same bastang they took Leklek before.
Mine only girl Yenyen too sad to see
her little brother went. She kept quiet
everydays think think. I begged the bastang
not took mine boy. They not understood.
Heard only something like “pok is good ”.

The pupoh talked little little. Yenyen
stopped to eat. She said, “No Hokhok play
wis me !” I sorry sorry for her. The bastang
came to take Yenyen. I saw her away.
I not cried. Maybe it better for Yenyen.
She will stop to think. No more think.

No more think think. Maybe I say
too much. Who is listening to my story?

a new beginning of a new beginning

From tomorrow I will start working in a new Company - Toray International. A company where my boss used to worked for over 30 years and is now a consultant of this company.

Strangly I neither feel excited or nervous or happy or upset. It has been too much going on recently that I feel its just another assignment, another new situation I have to deal with. Is it a good thing? I dont know..

just too much going on for me for now, I need some rest..
